Family roadtrip from Amsterdam to Tokyo. We traveled with our lovely 4×4 campervan Toyota Hiace. We left Amsterdam the beginning of June 2018 and we were back in December 2019.

With this website we would like to inspire families to explore the world together!

We are happy and grateful that we have made this wonderful trip as a family. We have seen many different countries and cultures, met special people and showed other worlds to our children. It was very valuable to be so close with our family and to have more time and attention for each other. This experience and the freedom that you have is indescribable.

Roland, (33) who loves to drive, especially off-road, and hates washboard roads. He’s more a nature man who like to see different scenery and is happy if he can film this all with his drone.

Don’t be afraid to get lost.”

Iris, (33) who loves to meet locals in their house and see their habits but is afraid to get served kumis or meat. She likes to see villages but enjoys the nature as well.

“I’m so extremely happy when we jump together in the sea!”

Ize, (4) loves to play with other kids, even when they don’t understand each other. But stones, sand and mud keep her also busy for hours.

“How is the world made?”

Lune, (2) is so enthousiastic when she sees animals, especially while driving and she see some horses, sheeps or camels. But when a dog comes to her she wants to climb in whatever is nearby.

“Looook! A sheep.”

The car who brought us so far is our Toyota Hiace 4×4 from 1994. A really reliable car who is doing a great job. He climbed up to 4655 meters high, drove in very hot temperature and even through the sand is no problem. Sometimes he is jumping over the road because of big potholes.
